Submission for #watchstr and story time. I carry a Wenger (original manufacture of the Swiss Army knife) Basic Issue everyday and still consider it the only real Swiss Army knife… anyways my wife and I sorta eloped (and 20 some family members still showed up) 2 years ago and I wanted her to have as much of a special day as possible so I told her to buy whatever dress she wanted, didn’t care about price, I bought a nice dress suit and all the dress clothes that I’m not a fan of wearing, but wanted it to be special for her. One thing I wanted was somewhat of a dressy looking watch to go with it, so of course I thought that I’d get an actual Wenger watch to go with the knife in my pocket. Go figure, I thought I was getting a deal on eBay for this Wenger… when I got it, I figured the battery was just dead so I replaced it. Let’s just say I quickly found out that it would only hold the correct time for the minute that I set it, from that point forward, it would never hold the correct time and the new batteries only last about 8 months… so now I just keep it in the collection to say I have a Wenger watch #grownostr #watch #wenger #swissarmy
