His last catheter is scheduled to be pulled this evening and as long as he can urinate on his own, he will be released. Yesterday when we saw him, he was instantly happy and relaxed to see us even with the kids being their crazy selves. It was the calmest the nurses had seen him since he got there. He never stopped purring and fell asleep for a little cat nap with snoring and twitching and everything associated with an exhausted sleep. Today we are planning on the whole family going back down see him, and then I’m skipping the podcast tonight hopefully waiting for the call that I can drive down and get our orange buddy. #waltthecat #catstr #update #grownostr #furryfamily

And just like any other family, sometimes you have to wait in an ER waiting room an hour from home in the middle of the night by yourself praying, waiting, and hoping for good news. Plus side is, so far Walt the Cat is doing better after a urinary blockage. Unfortunately this hospital is over capacity so after he is stabilized, I have to take him to another one near by tonight to stay for a few days for hopefully only observation #furryfamily #catstr #grownostr
